The Passports to Good Health project is funded by NHS England and is being being run in partnership with Sefton CCG’s and Merseycare NHS Foundation Trust.

We are working with Tracy Reed from Merseycare to deliver training to our members around all aspects of health and health services for people with learning disabilities.

The training includes:

  • Health screening
  • Immunisations
  • Accessing health services
  • Annual health checks

After the training we will be producing an easy read guide booklets about all these health topics.  We will promote the booklets at 3 events: for people with learning disabilities, parents and carers and providers.

All of this work and the events will be led by our members who are all people with learning disabilities.
