The DAVID Project members had an exciting meeting with Pete Le Grys from Photosymbols this week. Pete has offered the opportunity for two of our members to go to Bristol and be ‘models’ for a day, to pose for photographs to be used for the project’ s resources. We will also be working in collaboration with Photosymbols later on in the year to produce further photographs and one member will be chosen to work as an ‘expert advisor’ for the company.
The coming year is going to be very busy for the group with lots of interesting and exciting opportunities arising. In May, the members will be hosting workshops with carers in Sefton to discuss how they can talk to their wards about death and dying. We will also begin work with the BuzzHub, based in St Helens on developing the visual resources for the project.
