This Thursday in the DAVID Project we welcomed guest speaker David Corkhill from the Feel Good Factory in Netherton. David gave a PowerPoint presentation to a group of our members in the morning, about the subject of Bereavement. Although it was an emotional subject, our members enjoyed the session and were keen to contribute their own experiences.

In the afternoon, our member Lisa Frith hosted a Death Cafe. Lisa talked about her own experience of attending a Death Cafe in Liverpool city centre. As well as enjoying coffee and cake, the members took part in a number of group activities to encourage conversation around the subject of death and dying.

Next week, we will be inviting some more carers from New Directions to learn about our project and ask questions.
