My name is Dawn Holmes and I started working for People First Merseyside in August 2019 as a Project Development Worker for the DAVID Project.
My background in is the conservation/environmental field and I have worked as a Park Ranger and a Community Liaison Officer in a city farm. Many of my past job roles have involved working with people with learning disabilities which I have always found extremely rewarding, so when I saw an advert for a job with People First Merseyside I jumped at the chance!
Since I started working here, I have been continually astounded at the dedication, commitment and talent that the members show, they really are a unique group of people.
I own two horses, a black Welsh Cob called Dylan and a palomino American Quarter Horse cross Welsh called Solstice. As well as three cats and three ducks I am also the proud owner of Danzig my little Jack Russell dog. Most of my spare time is spent either riding my horses or walking Danzig in the countryside
