We have been invited to take part in a piece of research with John O’ Dwyer from the University of Leeds.

John is looking at the way information about quality of life is collected from people with learning disabilities.

John has developed an easy read version of the form and is asking our opinion about which form we prefer. John is meeting with each members who wanted to take part in the research twice. So far he has done 6 interviews, with another 6 to go. In a couple of weeks time, John will interview everyone again.

Jayne said “I thought it was interesting. We looked at different questions about how healthy and happy we felt. I am enjoying being part of the research.”

We will do another update in a couple of weeks time to let you know how we are getting on with the rest of the research.
