In today’s session, we continued to talk about essential and non-essential spending. The members agreed that some items are clearly essential (bills, rent, debt, food etc), or non-essential (pub, holidays, parties etc), while some could be either: for example, a car or a taxi might be a luxury to a mobile person but absolutely essential to someone with disabilities.

We also did a quiz that helped us understand our attitudes toward money and how we deal with it – do we spend it or save it and what we could do differently.
