Yesterday we held our monthly diary meeting which allows the members to update their diaries and make sure that everyone knows what is happening each day.

In Live and Learn we have also been using diary meetings as an opportunity to practice the skills, needed in a meeting such as chairing and minute-taking. This month Jade volunteered to read the diary, Phil offered his experience as the chair and Robert took minutes of the meeting.

Jade said: ‘I felt I was involved in the meeting as I was updating members and staff about what was coming up. It was interesting and I would like to do it again’. Robert commented that it was a good exercise and Phil enjoyed supporting Jade.

The next diary meeting will be held on 11^th July at 1 PM.
