This week is National Hate Crime Awareness Week. On this occasion, we asked Phil to share his knowledge about reporting and preventing hate crime. Phil is passionate about preventing hate crime and did a lot of work around hate crime training, for which he received the Community First Award from the Merseyside Police.
Phil explained that a lot of people are still scared to report a hate crime or they don’t know how to do it. Phil recommended calling 101 (a non-emergency number) or telling someone you trust who can report it on your behalf.
