This week in Live and Learn, we were visited by Jayne Moss from Sefton Community Learning service. She enrolled the members onto the basic IT course and assessed their previous knowledge of the computers.

After we finished the paperwork, Jayne did a short presentation about online safety, including keeping your passwords private, using antivirus software and not opening suspicious email or clicking on suspicious links.

The course will run for five weeks and cover a different topic in every session (Word processing, getting online, emailing, powerpoint, internet safety etc). We are starting on the 15th November.

After our introduction to the IT course, the members are excited to learn more. Hopefully at the end of the course, our members will feel more confident while working on the computer.
