This week on the Live and Learn project we had a diary meeting. Karen volunteered to lead the meeting, so she could get the experience of chairing a meeting. She looked at the office diary and told the members about the upcoming events in the near future. Karen did a good job making sure that everyone was on the same page and gave everyone plenty of time to write in their diaries. Here’s what Karen had to say about it:

“I was a bit nervous at first but once I figured out how to do it, I was fine. I enjoyed it and I would do it again.”

The members also practised their IT skills: Keith had a go at creating a PowerPoint presentation, Iain was typing in Word and some members wanted to practise uploading things to Facebook. Emma and Jade showed the members how to upload pictures, set status and add friends. Jade and her group created Live and Learn’s very own Facebook profile where members can practice all the Facebook features.
