Yesterday we had our first British Sign Language training session with Steve McKenna from MSDP (Merseyside Society for Deaf People). The theme yesterday was ‘Deaf awareness’ and we have learned many interesting facts about the Deaf community.

Everyone enjoyed the session and we are excited to continue learning in the following weeks. As one of our members Jade said: ‘It was an amazing experience and opportunity to learn more about the Deaf community. Inclusion matters!’
