Today saw the 2nd week of People First Merseyside’s Autism Social Group, part of the Autism Advocacy service. This group has been set up for Autistic people without a learning disability, over the age of 18. It was well attended, with 5 attendees on the day which included 2 new faces. The social group will run every Friday afternoon 1-3 pm, and if demand is high there may be another day added. We also had support form our Partner from Imagine Independence Ian who supports Autistic people in Sefton get the support they need. The group engaged well and got the chance to meet others with the same condition in a safe space.
