Friday 10th December saw week 11 of the social group as part of the Autism Advocacy Project. We had a total of 2 people attend and Emma and Siobhan joined us for a while and our partner Ian from Imagine helped to facilitate the session. We chatted about collections we have at home and whether we hoarded things or were able to get rid of things, with the majority said that they hoarded and sometimes had a hard time letting go. We also talked about the way women got treated sometimes whilst out with friends or out shopping and if the way they dressed should have an impact on this. We spoke about if had an experience of someone acting or behaving strangely around them or to them whilst out. It was a good session with people sharing their experiences freely. People really engaged and had fun, they shared interesting experiences and points of view. For further information please see attached flyer.
