Recently, Patrick Burke and our project worker, Maddie, visited the archives at Liverpool Central Library.

The visit was preparation for some work Patrick hopes to do around history.

Both spent a brilliant morning looking into Liverpool history after the war as well as viewing the material that People First Merseyside had stored within the archives.

It was a very interesting trip as Paddy shared memories of past times as well as past members who were crucial to the work that People First Merseyside has done over the years.

We hope to visit the archives again very soon, the staff within the archives were very helpful and supportive.
