The Health Matters group has recently been on a health walk to Crosby Lakeside Marina.

Although the weather was a little bit cloudy and rainy the members still had a brilliant time and got lots of steps in.

The group voted on Crosby Lakeside as it currently is part of the Querky trail with In Another Place. A Qwerky is a scarecrow like figure representing and celebrating how everyone is different. All qwerkies will be made have been made by local community groups, schools and families. People First Merseyside made two of the Querkies on the trail so we were keen to get down and see how the others looked.

After a rest and lunch in the Marina Gardens, the group continued the walk. As we continued the weather really brightened up and some of the group even got an ice cream. After this we then got the train back to the office.

It was a fantastic day and the group will be taking more walks in the very near future.
