Sefton Health Champions Practising See-Ability Roadshows for the New Year

Sefton Health Champions spent some time practising their See-Ability roadshows for the New Year. See-Ability have provided free materials especially for people with learning disabilities around eye health and care. If you want a roadshow to come to your group please call the office on  0151 329 2137. We talked about how to go for an eye test at least every 2 years and how to look after your glasses.

We learnt that 6 out of every 10 people with a learning disabilities  need glasses and that optitions have other ways to test eye sight for people who cannot read.

Sarah said, ” I am feeling more confident with the materials now”.

Paul said , ” There’s a lot to learn but I’m getting there”.
