Today the HealthFirst Liverpool Group held our monthly Coffee Morning in the Old Head Of Steam by Lime Street Station that is now called the Wetherspoons North Western. It is a beautiful old building with massive fire places, gorgeous original features and it overlooks the Weeping Window Poppy display outside St George’s Hall.
Phil MacAdam came along for the first time and said “It was really good, it is great to see some of the old people I know from the Road Ahead and I’ve made new friends – I’m definitely coming next time!”
Our Art Tutor Chris came along and said “I always love coming to the coffee mornings with everyone, it puts me in a fantastic mood for the rest of the day – hope to see everyone next week for art.”
It was great to see Angela, Michael and Patrick from Oakfield and we had a great conversation about our hopes and dreams and what we want to do in the future. Patrick would really like to be DJ on the radio and he has already been up the Radio City Tower with his friends from Oakfield but would love to do his own show.
The coffee socials are great as we get the chance to sit, catch up and find out how everyone is doing and feeling in their lives.
If you would like to come along our next Coffee Morning is on Thursday 10th December from 10am call 0151 707 6751 to find out more.» Back to News
